Friends of the Shelton Library
The Friends of the William G. Reed/Shelton Library, Timberland Regional Library System, are advocates, supporters and book-lovers who work to support the goals and objectives, programs and services of our community library.
They strongly believe that libraries are an essential part of a community’s quality of life, encouraging exploration, creativity and sharing.
There are many important local programs and services for children, teens and adults that are not completely covered by the Timberland System’s budget, and these programs depend on the support provided by the Friends.

Our meetings are held the fourth Monday of the month at 1:00 pm in the Library activities room. All are welcome to attend.
We need your gently used books, cds and dvds for our ongoing book sale shelves in the Library, occasional one-day book sales and for the individual purchase of rare and collectible books. Please see the Donate page for donation guidelines and Used and Rare Books For Sale.
We would love to have your help and input. We need help with stocking our in-library book sale shelves, writing for our website and if you only have a little time to donate, help with once a year book sale events. Come to a meeting and find out more.
